✨LOVING TRUTH✨
Today is Truth & Reconciliation Day, an important Canadian holiday providing an opportunity to learn about the trauma caused to Indigenous people by residential schools and support the revolutionary healing / evolutionary journeys now possible for everyone.
Last night I watched the movie “What Men Want”, in which a woman suddenly can hear men’s inner thoughts and creates powerful evolutionary changes because of it. As I was watching, I felt certain aspects shine with relevance. At one point she asks for help from the mystical psychic character played by Erykah Badu, who advises her, “with Power comes responsibility to tell the Truth”. In the movie it’s the Truth that sets her and everyone around her Free…
Honouring all of this, I feel inspired to write to set myself and others Free…
I can relate to the “Power” of being able to hear peoples’ thoughts. My intuition isn’t telepathic or clairaudient like that, however it is empathic and clairsentient, which means I can feel others’ feelings and through feeling energy, can access deeper information about people and Life.
It has not been an easy road learning to deal with this ability. There have been many times of feeling energies and getting intense anxiety, partly because my ego was freaking out about feeling things that aren’t mine and fearing that I’m crazy… It was also partly because, as I kept letting it go and energy kept speaking, I had to reconcile with the fact that energy is real and this is an intuitive gift that can help people. Moreso, I had to accept that many humans have unresolved trauma, including me. After many years of therapy to process my childhood sexual abuse in harmony with others healing paths, I learned a lot and developed my ability to identify different energetic signatures / kinds of trauma with validating information and liberating Love.
Even through feeling into and facing these challenging aspects of our experiences, which many of us cast into our shadow or subconscious, is really challenging… So much so that many of us (myself included) mask the feelings with addictions to substances, food, TV, etc… When we do the deep Truth & Reconciliation through the depths, we can emerge even more Truthful, Loving, Powerful, and Free.
Intuition is something we all have access to. Especially women. We feel and know things. The challenge and opportunity is to acknowledge and lovingly speak up about it. This is especially important when our intuitive sense can protect ourselves and / or our loved ones (especially children and those who can’t speak up to protect themselves)… Or when our shadow work can help us to alchemize our trauma and be the best caregivers / Love Leaders we can be.
Truth is liberating. When shared with Love, it is healing. Sometimes it involves surrendering beyond discomfort or fear, yet I know that our bodies and emotions are encoded with our Souls, which ultimately lead us to more Divine Connection / God(de), which I heard Amanda Frances wisely refer to as “the Source of All Love”… We’ll all eventually surrender to it at the end of our lives, so why not surrender to Love & Truth now? Perhaps that’s how we can create the positive changes and healing / evolutionary Heaven on Earth our Souls seek…
