Healing in Harmony

For the last few months, I’ve been feeling inspiration percolating to create a podcast. I honour the flow of inspiration and am feeling like now is the time to start. Presenting...

This is the first episode, which I recorded in the forest, so you'll heard birds singing and water flowing. I explore my intentions for this podcast, the leading edge of my healing journey, and some of my tools for creating inner harmony.

My desire is to share inspiration as it flows through; as deep heartfelt shares of my journey of healing in harmony, and as meaningful conversations between myself and people I admire, people who have medicine to share, people who are open to meeting on the leading edge of shared vulnerability to find new levels of inspirational connection.
In the podcast, I mentioned that I would share some helpful tools in a blog for creating inner harmony for those who are interested, and this is that blog. Here are some tools that have truly helped me:

Your relationship with Spirit / Source / Great Love / whatever you call the Essence we all come from is your personal experience… So this is really up to you how feels best to connect.

I’ve discovered that simple prayers in the morning (to set intentions and allow that miraculous energy to flow through me more) and at night (to celebrate the day and ask for spiritual support in my dreams) enhance my life.

This is a power tool that I recommend to everyone. Journaling has the power to support us in connecting with our souls, learning form our emotions, harmonizing our parts, and receiving deeper inspiration.

For me, journaling is spiritually grounding. Especially when I was traveling a lot, I felt like my journal was my home, a constant I could return to that wove meaning and appreciation through my ever-changing experiences. Now with the swift current of change in the world at this time (Coronavirus), journaling is supportive to find my centre, make sense of everything flowing within / around me, and receive guidance for moving forward in the world.

These human bodies are energetic, elemental, animal, sacred beings. Movement can be amazing for connecting with our bodies, releasing stagnant emotions, and opening the rejuvenating flow of Life Force Energy.

I like to listen to my body and then flow with what feels the best. My body craves to experience a good burst of adventurous exercise (almost) every day, whether that’s walking, biking, dancing, yoga, or swimming. Any way that I can experience a deeper connection and harmonic soul flow within my body is awesome.

It’s hard to feel an inner sense of harmony when the mind is a run away train of negative or painful thoughts… Meditation offers a way to clear our minds, choose our focus, and open up to the possibility of high consciousness.

Simply focusing on the breath is one of my favourites… Music brings me into a deep meditative state, either listening to spiritual music or allowing it to flow through the present moment. Again, your unique connection with Spirit is personal, so I encourage you  to meditate in whatever ways nurture your authentic harmony with the Divine.

A great tool to access this inner compass is to feel your heart, emotions, body. When you imagine doing a certain thing, how do you feel? Do you feel excited, motivated, inspired? Or do you feel stressed, depleted, not good? Listen to that. It’s your soul guiding you.

Flowing with inspiration, to me, is about being present in the moment and listening to what lights me up. I’m realizing that in these mysteriously changing times it’s helpful to let go of ideas of what I “should” do and flow with what feels inspiring, moment by moment.

I hope you found a nugget of inspiration or support here that resonates with your inner Truth!
